Award-winning photographer
Tom McGhee believes in seeing beyond the everyday
to capture the emotional and atmospheric essence of
his selected subjects.
McGhee has exhibited his fine art work internationally
since the mid 90’s, centered around people and
their relationship with their urban landscapes, drawing
inspiration through his own personal observations
and interpreted via his conceptual imagery earning
him numerous awards including one as UK’s No.
1 Urban Photographer (Hotshoe Magazine). His work
has been exhibited in galleries around the globe including
Australia, United Kingdom, Europe and the USA.

As a leading photographer
McGhee has for the last eight years extended his talent
to the Advertising and Commercial photography field
where his work has been sought by companies including
Sony, Microsoft, Suzuki Motorcycles, Pfizer Pharmaceutical
and Mitsubishi Motors. He has also collaborated with
various designers and other creative on a number of
projects including books and independent films.
As a result McGhee is also a sought after speaker
and lecturer on his vision and the theory behind his
body of work to both designers and photographers.
McGhee has spoken at various venues throughout Australia,
the UK and by

invitation of the Australian
Consulate in Washington DC. A current member with
the APA in New York, McGhee is very active in his
position on the APA’s event committee, bringing
his experience in similar roles for associations in
London and Australia.
Currently residing in New York City, Scottish born,
Australian raised, McGhee has travelled the world
with his craft and has resided in Australia, London
and now the US. |
